Turn Around manager
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Turnaround Manager to support a large nursing home requiring strong leadership, operational oversight, and immediate improvements in care quality and compliance. This role is ideal for a proven leader who thrives in high-pressure environments and has a track record of successfully stabilising underperforming services.
Key Responsibilities

Provide strategic leadership to the nursing home management team.

Drive rapid improvements in compliance with CQC standards.

Assess and implement effective care practices to ensure safety, dignity, and quality of life for residents.

Develop and support staff through coaching, mentoring, and performance management.

Deliver robust action plans to address areas of concern and ensure sustainable improvements.

Liaise effectively with stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, local authorities, residents, and families.

Ensure smooth transition back to permanent leadership upon successful turnaround.
Candidate Requirements

Strong background in nursing home or healthcare management (RGN/RMN qualification desirable but not essential).

Proven success in turnaround roles or stabilising failing services.

In-depth knowledge of CQC regulations and best practice in adult social care.

Excellent people management and leadership skills.

Ability to work under pressure and deliver results within tight timeframes.

Flexible and resilient with a hands-on approach.
