Senior Support Worker –
Location: Farnborough
Salary: £14.25 per hour
Hours: 40 hours per week – Days

Working Hours – 7:30 am to 2:30pm and 2:30 pm to 9pm ( split shifts )

About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Support Worker to join our residential care home supporting individuals with mental health needs and challenging behaviours. This is a hands-on leadership role, guiding the team to deliver the highest quality, person-centred support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support a team of support workers to deliver safe, consistent, and person-centred care.
• Work directly with residents to support daily living, promote independence, and achieve personal goals.
• Support with personal care, medication administration, and behaviour management.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of care, progress, and incidents.
• Act as a role model and mentor for staff, ensuring compliance with care plans and safeguarding protocols.
• Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies to ensure the best outcomes for residents.

Requirements:

• Essential: Previous experience in a senior or leadership role within mental health care, specialising in severe mental health and challenging behaviours.
• Strong understanding of safeguarding, behaviour management, and person-centred planning.
• Compassionate, patient, and resilient approach.
• Excellent communication and team leadership skills.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends if required.
• A valid driving licence is desirable but not essential.
