Location: London – Residential Care Home

Hours: 33 hours per week (Day shifts)

Salary: £13.50 – £14.50 per hour

Qualification: Level 3 in Health and Social Care (preferred)

About the Role We are seeking a dedicated Senior Healthcare Assistant to join our residential care team in London. This role focuses on supporting residents with dementia and complex care needs, ensuring high standards of care and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, person‑centred care to residents.

• Support individuals with dementia in daily living activities.

• Administer medication (training provided if required).

• Supervise and mentor junior care staff.

• Maintain accurate care records and follow safeguarding procedures.

• Promote independence, dignity, and respect at all times.

Requirements

• Previous experience in residential care, ideally dementia care.

• NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or working towards).

• Strong communication and leadership skills.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

• Commitment to delivering high‑quality care.
