Senior Healthcare Assistant – London SE

Location: South East London

Hours: 33 hours per week

Pay: £13.50-£14.50 per hour

Care Types: Residential Care | Dementia Residential Care

We’re currently recruiting a dedicated and experienced Senior Healthcare Assistant to join a compassionate care team in South East London, supporting residents in both Residential and Dementia care settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, person-centred care to residents

• Support with personal care, mobility, and wellbeing needs

• Lead and mentor junior care staff during shifts

• Monitor, record, and report changes in residents’ health

• Assist with care planning and ensure compliance with care standards

• Promote dignity, independence, and a positive care environment

What We’re Looking For:

• Ideally holds Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or working toward it)

• Proven experience in a senior care role

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Compassionate, reliable, and team-oriented

• Experience in dementia care is highly desirable
