About the Role
We are seeking a confident, compassionate, and organized Home Manager to lead our small 8-bed supported living service for adults with learning disabilities, autism, and complex care needs. You will ensure a homely, safe, and person-centred environment, where residents are empowered to live fulfilling and independent lives.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee the daily running of the 8-bed service, ensuring a warm, inclusive, and supportive atmosphere.

Build strong relationships with residents, empowering them to make choices and live as independently as possible.

Act as a Key Worker, maintaining excellent communication with families, staff, and external professionals.

Ensure compliance with CQC standards, safeguarding protocols, and company policies.

Lead, inspire, and develop the care team through training, supervision, and mentoring.

Maintain accurate care plans, records, and reports in line with regulatory requirements.

Manage budgets, resources, and staff rotas effectively.

Drive continuous improvement and uphold the organisation’s core values.
Requirements

NVQ Level 5 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) – essential.

Previous experience managing a small residential or supported living service.

Strong knowledge of CQC standards and regulatory requirements.

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Well-organised, proactive, and able to prioritise effectively.

Compassionate, hands-on approach with a commitment to person-centred care.

Flexibility to work across shifts when required in a 24/7 service.
