Home Manager (Residential / Dementia Care)

Position: Home Manager
Location: Beccles
Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 per year

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Home Manager to lead a residential service providing high-quality care and support for older people, including those living with dementia. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong leader to manage all aspects of the home and ensure the highest standards of person-centred care.

Key responsibilities

• Provide effective leadership and day-to-day management of the home

• Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and local authority requirements

• Recruit, train, and develop staff, fostering a supportive and professional culture

• Oversee care planning, safeguarding, and resident well-being

• Manage budgets, resources, and occupancy to ensure sustainability

• Build strong relationships with residents, families, staff, and external stakeholders

About you

• Previous experience as a Registered Manager / Home Manager in a residential or dementia care setting

• Strong knowledge of CQC standards and regulatory frameworks

• Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills

• Ability to lead on service improvements and maintain a positive care environment

• Ideally qualified to NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care Leadership & Management (or equivalent)
