Dental Receptionist

Location: Rochester, Kent
Salary: £13-£15 per hour (depending on experience and skills)
Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday

A well-established private dental clinic in Rochester is looking for an experienced Dental Receptionist to join their friendly and professional team. The practice offers a full range of treatments including general and family dentistry, hygiene services, cosmetic dentistry, teeth whitening, veneers, composite bonding, Invisalign and dental implants. The clinic prides itself on providing high-quality patient care in a modern and welcoming environment.

The Role
The Dental Receptionist will be responsible for delivering excellent front-of-house service, managing appointments, handling patient enquiries, and supporting the wider clinical team. You will be the first point of contact for patients and play a key role in ensuring their experience is positive from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients in a warm, professional manner

• Manage appointment bookings, confirmations, and diary coordination

• Handle phone calls, emails, and patient enquiries efficiently

• Process payments, invoices, and finance-related enquiries

• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure GDPR compliance

• Support the dental team with day-to-day administrative duties

• Promote treatments and provide information about services such as cosmetic, orthodontic, and implant dentistry

• Manage recall systems, follow-ups, and appointment reminders

• Ensure the reception area is tidy and well-presented

About You

• Minimum 2 years of experience in dental reception or dental nursing

• Excellent customer service and communication skills

• Professional, organised, and confident working in a busy environment

• Experience using dental software; familiarity with Dentally is an advantage

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask

• Positive attitude and willingness to support the team

• Flexible to work Saturdays when required
