Care Assistant – Swaffham

Howard Finley Care are currently recruiting for a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our client’s welcoming Residential Home in Swaffham, supporting residents living with dementia and elderly care needs.

Vacancy Details:

• Pay: £12.21 to £12.30 per hour
• Hours: 33 hours per week available
• Shifts: 8am – 8pm or 8pm to 8am
• Day shifts and night shifts available
• Contract: Permanent

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering high-quality, person-centred care to residents
• Supporting with personal care, including washing, dressing, and mobility assistance
• Assisting with meals and ensuring residents are comfortable and well-supported
• Encouraging engagement through meaningful activities and companionship
• Maintaining accurate care documentation and ensuring a safe, supportive environment

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience as a Care Assistant or Support Worker (preferred, but not essential if you are caring and eager to learn)
• A compassionate, patient, and reliable approach to care
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team on day shifts or night shifts .
