About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic, compassionate, and highly experienced Home Manager to take full responsibility for the leadership and management of a high-quality, privately operated 33-bed nursing home. This is a very confidential opportunity for a committed individual with a proven track record in managing elderly care services.

Key Responsibilities
Clinical Governance & Compliance
-
Ensure the home operates in full compliance with all CQC regulations and legal frameworks

Monitor clinical quality through audits, observations, and continuous improvement plans
-
Manage and respond to safeguarding concerns and incidents effectively
-
Ensure best practices are maintained in medication administration, infection control, and end-of-life care
-
Take full responsibility for health and safety across the home
Essential Requirements
-
Proven experience as a Registered Manager, Deputy Manager, or Clinical Lead in a nursing home environment
-
Understanding of person-centred care and dignity in care for older adults
-
NMC PIN (Registered Nurse) preferred but not essential
-
NVQ Level 5 in Leadership & Management in Health & Social Care or equivalent (or willingness to achieve it)
Desirable
-
Experience managing homes with dementia and end-of-life care provision

Knowledge of financial management in a care setting

Proven experience in turnaround/improvement roles (CQC-rated services)
